Intel I210和I219-LM网卡区别

As far as I can tell from just the product specs, not a very huge difference. Definitely nothing the average user would ever experience.

They do pretty much the exact same. Both having a maximum 1Gb/s (GbE). With the I219 able to work at temperatures up to 80C instead of just 70C for the I210.

The main real difference is the 219 is for low power devices, mostly laptops. Where the I210 is usually on a desktop motherboard or on an expansion card NIC which slots into a PCIe port in desktops. Probably why the higher temps are allowed - a laptop simply always gets hotter on average. Not that the I219 cannot be fitted into a desktop, or the I210 into a laptop. just that they’re intended for those purposes - the I219 drawing less power but allowing for a hotter environment.

The only “real” difference is that the I219 includes vPro. Meaning it is able to be configured from a remote machine using command line interface. Mostly intended for IT staff to manage a company’s laptops without needing to physically go to each and every one. Think of it as a sort of SSH remote control through hardware, not completely as evolved, and certainly not to the point of a remote graphical program / entire desktop like you can do through SSH. But means you can install programs and adjust settings through the command interface on any such machine. This is likely of no use to a personal laptop or desktop, where someone would have used much more capable remote controlling software if they wanted such remote access methods.

From a daily use perspective, you’d not notice a single iota of performance change between the two. In a laptop you may find the I219 makes your battery last longer while not shutting down / loosing connectivity as soon when the laptop gets too hot. But this is basically splitting hairs.
