Google离线应用：Gears 0.3发布，支持Firefox 3，Gears 团队希望在Firefox 3正式版发布之前(6月17日)发布，Gears 插件能够进入浏览器内部，保存数据。Google还在努力使Gears支持Safari，并已经获得对Opera桌面和手机浏览器的支持。Google副总裁Sundar Pichai表示，“我们计划使其支持所有主流平台的所有主流浏览器。”
除了支持Firefox 3，Gears 0.3还支持：
- 通过JavaScript代码支持桌面快捷键 Ability to create desktop shortcuts with a snippet of JavaScript
