Today, I went to dinner to meet my boyfriend's parents for the first time. I received a text message, so I pulled out my phone to check. Apparently, his parents have a "No phone at the table rule" and took my phone away until I can learn "proper table manners." FML
第一次去男朋友家，吃饭的时候收到一个短信，于是掏出来看，然后手机就被老人收走了，他们家规定无论如何不能在餐桌上看手机。。。FML
Today, my parents accidentally bounced some checks through a miscommunication. They now owe the bank $700 and can't afford groceries, which means we're relying on me, a 17-year-old girl who works at McDonald's 2 days a week, to get us by for the next few weeks. FML
我爸妈不小心开错了支票，结果现在他们欠银行700美金，现在我们家没有任何现金也没法使用信用卡，唯一的资金来源就是我在麦当劳打工的收入，而我们需要靠这个撑到月底，我才17岁。FML
Today, I met an important figure in my line of work who also happens to know my dad, Alan. Upon meeting said person, I let my social anxiety get the best of me and I greeted him by saying, "Hi! I'm your Alan!" FML
今天要去面见一个很重要的客户，碰巧的是这个人刚好认识我爸爸，艾伦（爸爸叫艾伦），然后我就一直在想怎么能不漏痕迹的搭上关系，“嗨，你好，我是你的老朋友Alan的儿子”，“hi，你好，还记得你的老朋友Alan么，我是他儿子”等等，翻来覆去的准备，结果轮到我介绍自己的时候一紧张，张嘴变成了，“嗨，我是你的艾伦” .FML
Today, I found out about my parent's divorce over Facebook. FML
天啊， ，今天我在逛facebook的时候居然我觉我的爸妈早就离婚了？卧槽，我到底经历了什么？FML
